adminandClaude Sonnet 5 f14be58c06 feat: engagement-counter denormalization, pagination fixes, dead-code cleanup
Bundles the 2026-07-12 code-audit session (Clusters A/B/C/D partial/E/F):
denormalized Post/Advertisement reaction/comment/repost counters synced
transactionally instead of live _count queries; real cursor-based pagination
for followers/following/blocks lists; assertPetOwnership + formatRelativeTime
centralized; dead r2.ts + AWS SDK deps removed; missing DB indexes added;
account-deletion flow, mention notifications, pull-to-refresh feed, and
mobile UI/i18n fixes from the surrounding sessions.

PawFeed Mobile — Nebenplan

Ausgangslage

Die Web-App läuft auf Next.js. Kein Neu-Schreiben nötig — die App wird nur verpackt.

Phase 1 — PWA (kostenlos, sofort)

Progressive Web App: Nutzer können die Seite zum Home-Screen hinzufügen.

Was zu tun ist:

  • manifest.json mit App-Icon + Name hinzufügen
  • Service Worker für Offline-Fallback (next-pwa Plugin)
  • HTTPS ist bereits aktiv (Cloudflare) ✓

Kosten: €0
Aufwand: ~1 Tag
Ergebnis: Icon auf dem Home-Screen, Vollbild, kein Browser-Chrome
Grenze: Kein App Store Listing; Push Notifications nur Android (iOS erst ab iOS 16.4 im Browser)

Phase 2 — Capacitor (günstiger Store-Eintrag)

Capacitor verpackt die bestehende Web-App in eine native Shell. Der Browser rendert weiterhin Next.js, die App wirkt aber nativ.

Was zu tun ist:

npm install @capacitor/core @capacitor/cli @capacitor/ios @capacitor/android
npx cap init PawFeed org.pawfeed.app
npx cap add ios
npx cap add android

Die App zeigt https://pawfeed.org in einem nativen WebView — oder bei Build eine statische Next.js Export-Version.

Kosten:

Posten Kosten
Apple Developer Account 99 €/Jahr (Pflicht für iOS Store)
Google Play Console 25 € einmalig
Capacitor Open Source, kostenlos

Aufwand: ~2–3 Tage
Ergebnis: Echte App im App Store und Play Store, native Push Notifications, Kamera-Zugriff möglich
Grenze: Performance ist WebView, kein 100% natives Feel

Phase 3 — React Native / Expo (spätere Milestone)

Bereits in CLAUDE.md als Future Milestone vermerkt. Für Alpha und Beta nicht notwendig.

Wann sinnvoll:

  • Nutzerzahl wächst und Performance-Beschwerden kommen
  • Features brauchen echten nativen Zugriff (GPS, Kamera-APIs, ARKit)
  • Budget für ~4–6 Wochen Rewrite vorhanden

Zeitplan

Phase Wann Kosten
PWA Alpha €0
Capacitor → iOS + Android Beta ~124 €
React Native Rewrite v2 Projektbudget

Wichtigster Hebel

Apple Developer Account ist der einzige echte Kostenfaktor. Ohne ihn kein iOS Store — aber PWA funktioniert bereits auf iPhone ohne Store und ohne Kosten.
